So brief background as to why this happened—though I didn’t have VIP in Indy, an acquaintance made certain I got to have a few minutes to say hi to Darren again. After he “stole” another hug from me, and we joked about “Pheromones”, I asked him if it would be possible for him to sing “The Muse” for me. He paused, and said he was thinking about doing “Categories” in Indy (a fan had asked) but maybe he could switch, and then he asked me when the last show I was attending would be, and I said Chicago. Darren was like, “Okay, I’ll do ‘Categories’ tonight, and ‘The Muse’ tomorrow night”, and I was like, yay, because “The Muse” was the first song I had ever heard of his, and I still love it beyond measure.

Anyway, when I saw him for the photo op with VIP last night, as I was leaving I kind of said “The Muse?” and he was like “Could I do ‘Status Quo’ instead?” and I just kind of looked at him, and then he was like “‘Good Ol’ Moon’?” I was more amused than anything because he was throwing out options, and he said that he and Charlene were doing “The Muse”, and I was like “But I won’t be at those shows…” And then I got Darren Criss to stomp his foot and say “Fuck!” really loud. A ridiculously sexy thing to witness.

So I didn’t expect him to play “The Muse” anyway since he’s doing a different song every show (I already have at least two friends promising to record the east coast shows for me—can’t wait to see “The Muse”!) but I was STUPIDLY surprised when he was suddenly apologizing to me onstage.

Also, I hadn’t realized he knew where I was standing until I just watched this video, and caught him looking straight at my camera, grinning.

That asshole.

The first girl isn’t me, but she’s this really awesome girl I met waiting in line her name’s Jessica and I’d say to follow her but I don’t know her tumblr yeah and I’d say we both have very embarrassing moms. Yeah and I’m after her!
